Use private and public AI in WeClassroom
Understand what stays in the teacher's workspace, what can be shared with the class and how AI-generated material can support preparations.
Use private assistance for the teacher's work
Open the private AI assistant when drafting an explanation, an activity or board material. Give the subject, learner level and desired output. Private assistance is distinct from material intentionally displayed to students; do not include personal student records in prompts.
Review generated activities and board content
The preparation editor can receive supported AI activity drafts and board objects. Review the question text, choices, answer key and layout before saving. A generated draft is editable material, not a guarantee of factual or pedagogical accuracy.
Decide what the class sees
Use the public classroom AI workflow only when you intend to include that material in the lesson. Check the sharing or display action before using it. Explain and review the response with students rather than presenting generated text as an unquestionable source.
Check usage and classroom context
AI access and available usage can depend on the institution's plan and balance. If the service cannot complete a request, read the message and contact the school administrator when needed. Do not promise unlimited use or assume private material has been shared without checking the classroom view.
Try it with your own lesson
