Run your first session in WeClassroom

Follow the teacher's workflow from signing in and opening a session to sharing the joining code and running the first activity.

By the WeClassroom team

Sign in with the right account

Sign in with the teacher account assigned by your institution. Your role determines the workspace you can use; a student account does not become a teacher account by joining a session. If access is paused because the school's subscription is inactive, contact the school administrator before planning a live class.

Open the session and prepare the board

Use the new-session flow in the teacher workspace. Check the session PIN and QR, then open your classroom materials on the board. You can prepare questions, quizzes, polls and board content in Preparations before the lesson, rather than composing every activity while students wait.

Invite students into this session

Share the PIN or QR shown for the current session. Students sign in and follow the joining flow; opening the public website alone does not place them in your class. Check the session's participants before beginning and help anyone whose account or joining code is incorrect.

Start with one activity

Explain a short part of your lesson, then use Question, Quiz or Poll to collect a response. Discuss the answers and use the whiteboard to clarify the explanation. Keep the first session simple so you can check the joining flow and teacher controls before combining several tools.

Try it with your own lesson

Bring a lesson and your classroom requirements to a WeClassroom walkthrough.
