Live classroom quizzes and polls

Use short questions and class feedback to decide what to explain next, while keeping the activity connected to the lesson.

Choose the right question

A quiz can check a specific idea; a poll can collect opinions or confidence levels. Decide which response will help you make a teaching decision. Avoid adding an activity simply because a tool is available.

Prepare before the session

Prepare the question, plausible answer choices and the explanation you will give for each common mistake. WeClassroom preparations let teachers organize activities before pushing them into a live session.

Read results as a starting point

Ask a student to explain a choice before moving on. If answers split between two options, compare their reasoning on the board. A selected option alone cannot tell you everything about a student's understanding.

Close the feedback loop

After a brief explanation, ask a different question about the same concept. Use this second response to plan the next step. Keep individual feedback respectful and avoid exposing student information unnecessarily on the classroom display.

Try it with your own lesson
