Use questions, quizzes and polls in WeClassroom

Choose the right activity, prepare its content and review student responses during the live classroom session.

By the WeClassroom team

Choose the activity type

Use a question when you want a student's written response, a quiz for questions with answer choices and correct answers, or a poll to collect choices and opinions. The teacher's session tools expose these activities separately, so decide what response you need before creating the item.

Prepare the content before class

In Preparations, add the activity to a lesson draft. For a quiz, review the options and correct answer for each question. For a poll, check that the choices describe the alternatives you actually want students to select. Save the preparation before leaving the editor.

Run the activity in the live session

Open the appropriate activity from the teacher's controls or use an item from your preparation. Explain the instructions before asking students to answer. Check that the intended activity is active and allow time for participants using smaller screens or a slower connection.

Review responses with the class

Use the activity's response and result views to follow participation. Discuss a misconception on the board or display a relevant answer when useful. A missing response can be an access issue; check the student's connection before treating it as a wrong answer.

Try it with your own lesson
