Understand teacher, student and classroom-screen roles

See how WeClassroom separates lesson control, student participation and classroom display, alongside school administration.

By the WeClassroom team

Teacher: lead the lesson

The teacher workspace provides session tools such as questions, quizzes, polls, attendance and AI assistance. The teacher manages the explanation and student participation permissions. Prepare the lesson in the teacher account rather than using a student's session view as a teaching workspace.

Student: join and contribute

Students join the intended session with their assigned accounts and QR or PIN. They follow the board, answer activities and use the participation tools made available to them. Drawing access is a session permission, so the student should not expect every editing tool to be available automatically.

Classroom screen: present shared content

The classroom-screen view is intended for following the lesson's shared content. It is not a substitute for the teacher's management workspace. Test the display with the school's account arrangement and devices before deciding how to connect a projector or classroom screen.

School administrator: manage the institution

School administration has its own workspace for users, classes, boards, attendance reports and subscriptions. Keep those responsibilities distinct from the teacher's classroom controls. If an account opens an unexpected portal, check its assigned role rather than creating duplicate school accounts immediately.
