Choose a WeClassroom session mode

Plan an in-class, online or hybrid lesson around the same shared board and participation tools, with the appropriate device and communication setup.

By the WeClassroom team

In class: connect the room and student devices

For an in-room lesson, the teacher leads the session and the class follows the board on the classroom display or their own devices. Share the session PIN or QR and use questions or polls to involve participants. Confirm that the board is readable from the intended seats.

Online: test the complete joining flow

When students join remotely, test their account access, session code and communication setup before the lesson. Use the shared board for explanations and the session tools for participation. A successful sign-in alone does not confirm that audio, activities and board content all work on the learner's device.

Hybrid: include both groups deliberately

Use one session for the in-room and remote groups, then verify that everyone follows the intended content. Explain hand raising and response routines. Check room microphone coverage and take remote contributions into account rather than relying only on the nearest students.

Keep live teaching distinct from independent coursework

WeClassroom's shared session tools support live teaching. If your institution needs independent coursework, an external content library or a specific LMS integration, discuss those requirements separately. Do not assume that choosing a session mode creates those additional workflows.

Try it with your own lesson

Bring a lesson and your classroom requirements to a WeClassroom walkthrough.
