Set up a hybrid session in WeClassroom
Connect the teacher workspace, classroom display and remote students to the same lesson, then test communication and participation.
Identify the devices and roles
Plan which device the teacher will control, which screen the class will follow and how remote students will join. Use the accounts assigned for those roles. Signing in on another device can affect an existing session, so test your intended arrangement before the lesson.
Join one shared session
Start the session and share its PIN or QR with the intended participants. Check that the in-room display and remote participants follow the same board content. A QR code shown on a screen is only a joining route; students still need the appropriate account and access.
Check audio and the shared material
Use the room's actual microphone, speakers and connection. Ask a remote participant to read a PDF or image on the board and complete a short activity. Avoid assuming that clear audio in the room means remote learners can hear clearly, or that a large display guarantees readable phone content.
Manage contributions from both groups
Explain how to raise a hand, answer an activity and use classroom chat. Pause to include remote responses as well as those from the room. The teacher should decide who can draw or edit, and change permissions deliberately as the lesson moves between explanation and participation.
Try it with your own lesson
Bring a lesson and your classroom requirements to a WeClassroom walkthrough.
